June is Lipedema Awareness Month. After three lipedema surgeries and more than 18 liters of diseased fat removed, I continue to share my journey, recovery, and the lessons I have learned along the way.
Lipedema is a chronic, progressive disease that primarily affects women, characterized by an abnormal accumulation of fat in the legs and arms, often mistaken for excess weight. For those living with this condition, it is important to have access to reliable information and resources to manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
