Our mission
Hello wonderful woman!
If you too suffer from lipedema or think you may have it, then this is the right place for you: a place where I want to welcome you, guide you, give you support and concrete information on treatments and operations in Switzerland. I want you not to feel alone and guilty, because we are many women who today fight against the disease of lipedema. More precisely, one in ten women. I want you to be able to find here not only valuable information, but also emotional support.
Here you will find the orientation that allows you to have basic information in one place on lipedema treatments and also on the expenses you will have to bear. This is all the information that I have collected thanks to my experience with lipedema. I remind you that I am not a doctor and I do not provide opinions on your diagnosis, because this is the job of the doctor specialized in lipedema. I am a patient who shares my personal journey with you, through which I can offer you my support.

Nice to meet you, I'm Silvia, your Lipedema Mentor. I too am a woman who has suffered from Lipedema for over 20 years. I was not aware that my Lipedema began to develop after puberty and underwent a huge evolution after my pregnancy. Unfortunately, doctors were unable to diagnose that I suffered from Lipedema and, instead, they wrongly treated me for obesity for over 20 years. If you too feel misunderstood, alone, without strength and in a lot of pain, then know that I understand you and I know exactly what you are going through. Now is your time to take back your life.
