ELASTICITY-ENHANCING COMPLEX

Manilkara multinervis leaf extract, derived from a plant native to Mexico and Guatemala, has important antioxidant properties and helps address the visible signs of skin ageing.

It acts on the mechanisms responsible for loss of firmness and elasticity by helping protect elastin and elastic fibres from degradation. It also supports the structure of the dermis and the skin’s natural production of elastin, helping the skin maintain a firmer and more supple appearance.

GINSENG EXTRACT

The main active compounds of ginseng (Panax ginseng) are found primarily in its root, which is naturally rich in saponins and ginsenosides.

These compounds help maintain skin hydration and support cutaneous microcirculation. Thanks to its antioxidant properties, ginseng is frequently used in cosmetic products designed to address the visible signs of ageing.

Its toning and revitalising properties help the skin appear more supple, toned and radiant, particularly after periods of fatigue or stress.

BIRCH EXTRACT

Birch is a perennial plant belonging to the Betulaceae family. Its leaves are naturally rich in flavonoids, sesquiterpene oxides, tannins, vitamin C, betulinic, chlorogenic and caffeic acids, resins and essential oils.

Soft-focus pigments are natural pearlescent functional powders. In addition to giving a cosmetic product a pleasant skin feel, they produce an immediate optical effect, sometimes referred to as “visual cosmetics.”

They diffuse light across the surface of the skin, helping to minimise the visible appearance of unevenness and giving the skin a smoother, more uniform and more radiant appearance.

HEXAPEPTIDE-12

Hexapeptide-12 is a lipopeptide composed of a short chain of amino acids linked to a long-chain fatty acid, which helps improve its affinity with the skin.

Peptides are small fragments of proteins found naturally in the skin. Hexapeptide-12 mimics a sequence found in elastin and helps support the activity of fibroblasts involved in elastin synthesis.

It therefore helps preserve skin elasticity and gives the skin a firmer, more toned and more supple appearance.

SWEET ALMOND OIL

Sweet almond oil is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of Prunus amygdalus dulcis. It contains a high percentage of oleic and linoleic acids, as well as smaller amounts of palmitic, stearic, lauric and myristic acids.

It has excellent emollient, nourishing and skin-softening properties. Thanks to its versatility, it is widely used in dermocosmetic formulations intended for sensitive, fragile and dry skin.
