Evolution of my Lipedema

Over the years, my legs have changed exponentially. They continued to grow without me realizing it was Lipedema. I continued dieting and exercising, but nothing happened. Lipedema is resistant to all this, and its progression cannot be stopped. I decided to undergo surgery, Lipedema Reduction Surgery (LRS).

In this photo, subcutaneous nodules due to lipedema are clearly visible. At this stage, I had excruciating pain and could no longer get on the bus or climb the stairs to the first floor.

After the surgery I can move better, and so I enjoy doing physical activity.

Before-After comparision

I immediately felt a huge difference after the first operation. Despite stage III lipedema on my legs and arms, I felt like my body was lighter.

Post-operative signs

Marks on my Lipedema lower leg surgery. I was operated on in the daily hospital and started walking almost immediately after the operation.

My Legs after the second surgery

My second operation took place on August 22, 2025. I had the complication of necrosis.

My legs after two lower leg surgeries. 6 liters of fat were removed from the front legs and 5.7 liters from the back. In total, my lower legs are lighter by 11.7 liters of lipedema fat, and are 24 centimeters smaller.
